Kyle West
"This is a short biography about me and my new job role in ASTec. I am only writing this on my second day so I am still getting used to my new surroundings and the methods of my new workplace and the tasks that will entail in the future.
I was originally born in Billinge, Wigan however for the past 12 years have lived in Winwick, Warrington with my family and I have 2 sisters; Leah 26 and Hannah 11.
I have a great passion for mountain biking and motorcross racing and these 2 sports have taken me all across the North West and North Wales. I take part in a few different motocross events, which my dad also takes part.
I am also interested in the Isle of Man TT races. My dad's side of the family also live in the Isle of Man, and I have been to watch the racing many times and loved it all. I enjoy a wide variety of music and therefore have attended a few festivals, events and concerts over the past few years and find these really enjoyable.
I have just completed a one year level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship, working at Serco in Birchwood, Warrington. Serco are a company that specialise in housing asylum seekers across the North West, and I have over the year gained experience in a wide variety of different tasks and has highly improved my workplace etiquette.
And, so begins my exciting start at STFC, at the moment I am still finding my feet but from first hand as everyone here seems really friendly, I am sure I will be really comfortable in no time and I look forward to hopefully exceeding expectations and gaining many varied skills along my new journey."
