The Compact Linac has been developed to investigate the potential for compact linear accelerators to be utilised in application areas such as security scanning, radiotherapy, non-destructive testing and wastewater treatment.
The system is housed in a fully shielded radiation test cell with client access to a flexible experimental area.
System Specifications
- Electron beam energy range between 3 MeV and 6 MeV
- Pulse widths down to 500 ns
- Pulse repetition rates in the range 1 to 400 Hz
