Projects 

    • Currently focused on VELA/CLARA design and commissioning, all aspects but particularly beam loss and collimation. 
    • Previously heavily involved in ALICE commissioning, operation, and accelerator science studies (longitudinal dynamics [link to publication]) 
    • Collimation design and simulation for several previous projects (SwissFEL, ILC beam delivery system, New Light Source, industrial accelerators) 
    • Beam commissioning at overseas facilities (Photo Injector Test Facilty at Zeuthen and End Station A Test Facility at Stanford Linear Collider) 


Areas of interest/experience/knowledge

    • Machine commissioning and operation. 
    • Optics design and optimisation for single-pass systems; 
    • Experimental characterisation of beam properties and beam optics; 
    • Beam tracking simulations.
