Sustainability for Particle Accelerators: RUEDI – A Case Study

​ASTeC’s Sustainable Accelerators Task Force, led by Ben Shepherd, have produced a report detailing the carbon emissions produced by building and operating an accelerator facility. The report uses the future RUEDI facility as a case study, and lists the biggest sources of these emissions together with some strategies for minimising the environmental impact of future accelerators.
