Dr Deepa Angal-Kalinin

Deepa Angal-Kalinin is Science Division Head at ASTeC and an accelerator physicist with over 30 years of experience shaping the future of particle accelerator science.

Her career spans key contributions to significant accelerator projects, from advancing light source design and commissioning, to exploring collective effects in the LHC, and leading global efforts on the International Linear Collider. Deepa currently leads the CLARA project at Daresbury Laboratory, including its user exploitation programme, driving forward the UK’s capability in next-generation accelerator-based science.
